Highlights

Pantheon

Is the main stage. During the days 1 and 2 November, the tombs are dressed with flowers, sugar skulls and some dishes in honor of the faithful departed. During these days there is music, skull contests and a staged funeral procession, which shows Mexican humor.

Calaverita - Sugar Skull

If you approach today to any offer of the day of the dead you will find not only sugar skulls, but also others made with chocolate, amaranth or gummy; these have been elaborated by the inhabitants of different parts of the country using other tasty ingredients, but guarding with much suspicion their festive art and meaning. There are some that are bathed in honey and have peanuts, pumpkin seeds or sesame seeds.
