Prepare to be awed!

At about 43 kilometers east of Holbox is Cabo Catoche, which is the point where the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico coincide. In this area you can see amazing landscapes with pristine beaches. Because of its exuberant marine life it is ideal for fishing and snorkeling.

Dolphins: Cabo Catoche way, we cross an area where there is a chance of seeing dolphins.

Fishing: North of Cabo Catoche where'll catch a few fish regular size, just enough to prepare the ceviche.

Snorkeling: The area of Cuevones is about 2 meters deep. Here you can see all kinds of fish and soft corals. Under the stones nurse sharks hide and sometimes you can see hawksbill turtles, octopuses or lobsters.

Beach and mangrove: We went down on the pristine beach for walking, eating ceviche and collect shells. If the tide is high, we went through a mangrove swamp to return to Holbox on the other side of the island.
