Overview and Itinerary

Enter into the amazing Sac-Actun system, the world’s longest underground river, explored and recommended by National Geographic Snorkeler specialized cave divers. Snorkel in the Nohoch Nah Chiich cavern, surrounded by awesome rock formations and millenary stalactites and stalagmites. Ride through the exuberant rainforest on our all-terrain Mercedes Benz Unimogs. Live a great experience rappelling into a beautiful cenote and swim in Yaxmuul, a unique natural pool. Enjoy nature and fly over the jungle’s foliage on exciting zip-lines. Discover a cenote where you will participate in a traditional Maya purification ceremony. All the locations are exclusive for our small groups. Our specialized tour guides are fully bilingual and will provide explanations before all activities.

  • 07:30 to 08:30 a.m. Pick-up at hotels in the Riviera Maya or Cancun
  • Activities (4 hours)
  • Cross-country across the jungle on board our original Mercedes Benz Unimogs, a major 4x4 vehicle.
  • Rappel 40ft down and swim in Yaxmuul, a natural underground pond of pristine waters and beautiful
  • and awestruck rock formations.
  • Fly over the lush forest on zip-lines, watch out, there is one water-landing.
  • Visit the Nohoch Nah Chiich cave, the amazing entrance to the Sac-Actun system, the world’s longest
  • underwater river, explored throughout 137 miles.
  • Snorkel in crystal clear waters surrounded by awesome rock formations and millenary stalactites and
  • stalagmites.
  • Meet a local shaman and witness a Maya purification ceremony in a beautiful dry cave, a very mystic
  • scenario.
  • Enjoy a traditional meal including soup, chicken, vegetables, rice, beans and hand-made corn tortillas.
  • 02:00 to 03:00 p.m. Drop off at hotels in the Riviera Maya or Cancun.

Important!

The expedition includes: Transportation for small groups, traditional lunch, water, 4x4 ride, English spoken tour guide for all day, all equipment required for activities, towel and lockers.

Recommendations: Bring comfortable shoes (no flip flops), fresh clothing, bathing suit on, extra shirt and cash or credit card for crafts and photos. Avoid using sunscreen to protect the ecosystem.

Important: This expedition is not suitable for handicapped people, or people who suffer heart, respiratory or back problems. It is not recommended for pregnant women. It is not recommended for obese (over 264 pounds). Children allowed from 6 years and over. People under the influence of alcohol or toxic substances won’t be allowed to participate.
