It located just 15 kilometers to the north of the capital Yucatan Dzibilchaltun (in Maya Written on Stone Plana) it is an important place because it was a pre-Hispanic city occupied in the post-classical, because of its proximity to the coast was critical to the salt trade . On this site you will find one of the iconic buildings of the Mayan culture. The Temple of the Seven Dolls building where astronomical phenomenon of arcing occurs every March 21, the Spring Equinox.
We also visit one of the most spectacular cenotes ¨X'lakah¨ its beauty consists in that it at ground level, this peculiar characteristic is given by the proximity to the coast. Besides we will enter an open church used by the colonizers for the evangelization of the Maya.
We continue to the beautiful port of Progreso where we can swim in its beautiful beaches, emerald green water.

The most famous structure is the Temple of the Seven Dolls, named because of seven small clay figurines were found at the site when the temple was excavated by archaeologists in the late 50s. In the spring equinox, building orientation makes the sun can be seen through the east and west gates.

X'lacah Cenote

From the Mayan which means "old village". It is found on the surface, completely open, it measures about 100 meters long, its depth in one of its edges is a meter and as you progress takes an inclined shape that reaches 45 meters from where a dark and horizontal gallery opens, whose end is unknown yet.

Progreso Port

It consists of a walker about a kilometer long and a great beach which is very busy, not only for being the closest to the city of Merida, because it has tourist facilities and shallow waters with fine white sand.
