Zapoteca Heritage (Monte Albán)

Join us on this tour of the ancient Zapotec capital, Monte Alban. Let our guide delight you with the history of one of the oldest and most highly populated Mesoamerican sites in Mexico. We will also explore the stunning 16th Century Dominican convent of Cuilapam, visit the alebrije makers of Arrazola and discover how the iconic black pottery of San Bartolo Coyotepec is made.

10:00 a.m Departure from Hotel to Monte Albán, considered one of the most important arqueological zones in Mexico. We will continue to Cuilapam, ex convent from the 16th century.

14:00 p.m Lunch (Buffet type with traditional Oaxaca food)

15:00 pm Visit of Arrazola, famous for the colorful alebrijes, we will finalize the journey at San Bartolo Coyotepec to discover the black pottery process.

18:30 p.m Come back to the Hotel
