Welcome to Tuxtla Gutiérrez! Your exciting journey begins as we head to the dock to board a boat and navigate through the breathtaking Sumidero Canyon. This majestic natural wonder is a geological marvel, home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna. We then continue to the historic colonial city of San Cristóbal de Las Casas, located at 2,300 meters above sea level and founded in 1528 by Captain Diego de Mazariegos. Upon arrival, we check into the hotel, and you'll have free time to explore and discover the charm of this beautiful Pueblo Mágico (Magical Town). Overnight stay.

Day 2 – [San Cristóbal de Las Casas – El Chiflón Waterfalls – Montebello Lakes – San Cristóbal de Las Casas]
In the morning, we depart from San Cristóbal to begin a day full of natural wonders. Our first stop is at the spectacular El Chiflón waterfalls, where a narrow staircase trail leads us to the stunning 'Bride’s Veil' cascade. We then continue to the breathtaking Montebello Lakes National Park, a natural reserve known for its many lakes with stunningly varied colors. On our return, we make a brief stop at the community of Amatenango del Valle to appreciate its unique beauty and culture. We end the day back in San Cristóbal de Las Casas for rest and accommodation after an unforgettable day immersed in nature and local traditions.

Day 3 – [San Cristóbal de Las Casas – San Juan Chamula – Zinacantán – San Cristóbal City Tour]
In the morning, we visit the indigenous communities of the Tzotzil ethnic group, entering a world of living traditions in San Juan Chamula. Here, we witness a fascinating blend of ancient customs and contemporary beliefs. We then head to Zinacantán to visit its church and a local family-run cooperative, where women create beautiful textiles using traditional backstrap looms—an ancestral art from pre-Columbian times. We admire their work and are invited into their kitchen to enjoy a regional drink and, if we’re lucky, hand-made tortillas. After this cultural experience, we return to San Cristóbal de Las Casas and explore the city on a walking tour. You’ll also have free time to enjoy its vibrant streets and rich culture. Overnight stay.

Day 4 – [San Cristóbal de Las Casas – Agua Azul Waterfalls – Misol-Ha – Palenque Archaeological Site]
03:30 AM. We depart early in the morning toward Palenque, with a stop at Agua Azul, a stunning set of waterfalls formed by the rivers Otulún, Shumuljá, and Tulijá, creating canyons and vertical cliffs. We continue to the Misol-Ha waterfalls, standing 30 meters tall and surrounded by lush tropical rainforest, creating a beautiful and refreshing setting. Afterward, we head to the Palenque archaeological site, a magnificent Mayan city known for its impressive architecture and sculptures. Marvel at structures such as 'The Palace,' 'Temple of the Foliated Cross,' 'Temple of the Sun,' and many more archaeological treasures. After our exploration, we check into our hotel in Palenque. Overnight stay.

Day 5 – [Palenque – Yaxchilán – Bonampak – Palenque]
Early in the morning, we travel to Frontera Corozal to begin an exciting boat ride along the majestic Usumacinta River. Enjoy the natural beauty of the region as we journey toward the mystical archaeological site of Yaxchilán. There, history comes alive through remarkable sculptures and a deep connection with nature. After returning to Frontera Corozal, the adventure continues as we visit Bonampak, whose name means 'Painted Walls'—and rightly so. Here, the most astonishing murals of the Maya World await, sure to leave you in awe. We conclude the day by returning to Palenque. Overnight stay.

Day 6 – [Palenque – La Venta Museum – Villahermosa]
On this beautiful morning, we head to the city of Villahermosa to visit the renowned La Venta Museum, a fascinating place full of history and wonder. Inside, you'll find majestic pieces from the ancient Olmec civilization. The museum displays four main categories: altars, stelae, freestanding sculptures, and the iconic colossal heads.
